1- Why does everything have to be so dark. Are audiences unable to appreciate the ‘darkness’ of a plot unless it is filmed in gloom. Surely the sun shines and lights work despite the gloominess of the plot. It is so frustrating, I really wanted to watch this series, I love Harlan Coben’s plots, but this is unwatchable.

 

2- Appalling acting by the lead character playing Lazarus, all he does is yell and act hysterical during every episode. As much as I appreciate Harlan Coben twists and turns, the series did not capture this at all and was just confusing. The high pitched mysterious music even when nothing is happening is distracting, and pretty much every character is one-dimensional and annoying both at once. I do not recommend this. Very disappointing.
